quality printers. HP continues to upgrade it’s printers. You will find that printers have continued to evolve into devices that do much more than create simple black and white documents. Most are multi-functional printers have the capacity to quickly print high-resolution color photographs and documents, receive and send faxes, scan files, and act as a networked printer for several computers. This HP 6310 printer is an all-in-one device that is conveniently able to do all of these things. The following is how you can quickly setup and install your new HP Printer 6310 on your computer.
Instructions
No. 1. You will need to remove all the packing and shipping tape from the printer. Then just open the top cover of the printer and remove the orange shipping lock on the left inside panel of your printer.
No. 2. You will then attach the control panel faceplate, attach it by lining it up with the printer and securely press down on the edges of the faceplate until it snaps into place.
No. 3. You will then attach the bottom paper tray by inserting it into the front opening of the printer, then slide the paper adjuster all the way to the left and load paper onto the tray.
No. 4. Then attach the top output tray by inserting it above the bottom paper tray and hooking it into the grey latches on the printer and then once the hooks have been inserted, lower the tray into place.
No. 5. Then connect the power cord to the printer and then plug it into a wall outlet. You will then insert one end of the phone cord that comes with your printer into the jack labeled “1-line.” Then insert the other end of the phone cord into a wall phone jack.
No. 6. Just turn on your printer by pressing the “On” button. Lift the print cartridge door by pulling up underneath the control panel. You will fine that the print cartridge should move to the right. Then remove the ink cartridges by gently pulling them until they slide out of their slots. Then remove the tape on each cartridge and return them to the appropriate slot by pushing them in until they snap back into place. Just close the print cartridge door.
No. 7. You will find an alignment message will display on your printer. Do make sure you have paper loaded and then click “OK” to finish the alignment process.
No. 8. Then insert the installation CD that came with your printer into your computer’s CD-drive and follow the onscreen instructions until you are prompted to connect the USB cable. Then connect the USB cable to the port on the back of your HP Printer and then plug the other end into the USB port on your computer. Just continue following the onscreen instructions until you complete the installation wizard.
